Why is God "Internationalizing"
the U.S. |
| North America's population today
is more diversified than ever before. Over 1.1 million newcomers
arrive annually and the number continues to rise - making the
United States the fourth largest mission field in the world.
Some experts project that the minority of the United States
will soon become a majority. Thus, the future of the Church
in North America will to a large degree be determined by our
response to the new challenge. Insurmountable problems have
kept traditional missions away from most of the people in the
10/40 window. It is no wonder, then, that providentially millions
are moving to the U.S. where they can freely hear the saving
message of Jesus Christ. From the beginning, the Lord commanded
that Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria be evangelized first - our
neighborhood., state, and country. From this foundation, God
will bless our efforts as we go forth "unto the uttermost part
of the earth". |
